The purpose of the electronic page –https://evroto.bg and https://еврото.бг, is to be a useful and reliable source of accurate, timely and current information, to collect all important news, decisions and events in one place, related to the introduction of the common European currency in Bulgaria..
In the specially created section head ‘About the Euro’ nationals and businesses will find short and accurate answers to the most frequently asked questions. The purpose of the section head is to provide information on all aspects and circumstances related to the process of the Euro introduction. Here you can also find information about the Euro area and the path our country has been crossing over.
Another highlight of the e-page is section head ‘Is it true that...’. Some factual answers to some of the most common false statements and unfounded concerns related to Bulgaria accession to the Euro area were provided herein. The easiest way to disprove the myths is by using facts and information, for which we have looked for different points of view in the section head ‘The Experts Speak’. There will be found short interviews of leading experts - economists, financiers, trade unionists, managers of business associations, who comment on ‘hot’ topics for users about the effects and influence of the Euro introduction on business and people’s lives.

The electronic page has been developed as part of a framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and ‘Information Service’ AD.
